The following criteria apply to current and future international students regarding the updated PGWP eligibility rules:
- Current International Students: If enrolled in a program at RRC Polytech and meet language proficiency requirements, you remain eligible for a PGWP regardless of your specific program.
- Prospective International Students (Study Permit Filed Before November 1, 2024): Students who apply for a study permit before November 1, 2024, will also retain PGWP eligibility, regardless of their program.
- International Applicants (Study Permit Filed After November 1, 2024): Those who apply for study permits after November 1, 2024, must be enrolled in an IRCC-identified eligible program to qualify for a PGWP upon graduation.
